S.M.G
This game came in two versions. One for the 32k MTX500 and one
for the MTX512. This was a large
4-way scrolling game which had you looking around for gold pots
and keys. Andrew wanted to
add a type of interactive sound to this game and when the
monsters got close to you
they would lock on and all you would hear was a bleeping sound
like Jaws warning you of
impending doom. This was quite effective and you knew as soon as
you heard the bleep to run.
In case any of you wondered what SMG stood for, it was Scrolling
Maze Game (logical eh!).
S.M.G. was programmed by Andrew Key. .
